To gain the fastest slayer xp/hr on an Abyssal Demons task you need to burst/barrage them in the Catacombs of Kourend (multicombat). You should use Smoke or Shadow ancient spells as they are the most cost effective. Ice spells are not recommended since you don't want to freeze the demons as they teleport you around.

To train slayer AFK with an Abyssal Demons task, you need to attack all of them in one room in the Catacombs of Kourend. You should use an Arclight if you have one since it provides high attack and strength bonuses on demons. Alternatively you can use a whip or rapier. You can use highly defensive armour to save money instead of using prayer, however you may die if you AFK for too long. You can also use Guthan's to stay there for ever.
